It's a well known pic among herbivory researchers. I edited the OP to use a bigger version I just located.

Veggies tend to have higher iq's so we know that since we don't eat beef we won't be having rabbit with the beef either:bounce:

"you see, the reason us Hare Krishnas don't eat chicken is because they've got egg in them." :D

22. From my experience with you, I'd say
your IQ is definitely in the high three digits range and probably higher than the average genius, if there is such a thing. Hey, billy. :hi:

21. I knew that....
I have a Ph.D. in... science!

Mark Hunter at the University of Georgia uses that pic to start his seminars. He studies interactions between plants and herbivores.

18. What's to consider, exactly?
If the photo is real, what is the intent of the cow with that rabbit?

I don't get it.

20. the cow is actually eating the rabbit...
Edited on Sun Dec-17-06 12:02 AM by mike_c
...or at least chewing on it. Lots of large herbivores are facultative omnivores. The picture is real-- it's fairly well known among folks who do research on herbivory.

I've seen squirrels eat road kill as well.

BTW, I'm not really trying to make a point about vegetarianism-- it's just a cool pic that illustrates that even animals we think of as obligate vegans have a little wiggle room.
