The guy helping him hold the pole is the leader of a local SCA "clan" who wants Brendan to join his youth program. We're thinking about it, but the SCA is a pretty big time commitment, and with school and work--we aren't sure if we'll be able to manage it. But he definitely loves anything to do with knights and swords and such. :)
