17. Not yet.

We had rattan when we were in Glendale. Floral with a black background, black sides and teal piping. That gave way to chrome with red oil cloth. Now we have the ones in the pix.

I have not gotten to the mantle yet. I think I'll try to lay something out in Autocad soon.

Hey, thanks for the second pix. The dancers are an inspiration. We have a pair of ceramic calyso dancers that we bought at the Rose Bowl years ago and I have forever been afraid to put them up anywhere. I am a major klutz. Anyway, Ms. OR really wants to display them. They are both on a single background, but your dancers look like the perfect way to display them and if I find something to go inbetween they can go over the fireplace.

Hmm. Ms. OR has doubts about color compatibility. The torture never stops.

20. Those dancers are special to us

When we bought our first house, they were left in the house over the mantle. They had been on the wall since the mid 50's, and the owner left them for us when we requested them in the initial offer for the house.

This is the third place I've had them up...
