I just realized that I have a very boring life...
I go to bed at about 2:30 am, then I get up at about 2:30 or 3:30 in the afternoon. Mind you I don't sleep uninterrupted throughout. Anyways, once I get up I take my meds and supplements then I check my e-mail and surf DU for about hour and a half. Then I get off and watch Judge Judy at 4:00. If it happens to be a Monday, Wednesday or Friday I will go visit my mom at the dialysis center. If it's Tuesday evening I go to my mom's house and watch "House" and "Law and Order: SVU" since that is our favorite shows. But since "House" isn't premeiering until Jan 9th I have no reason to go over there for now.

Some evenings I will go over to my sister's if my mom is there. I don't like to be at my sis's alone since she scares me.

Weekends I pretty much stay at home and read, watch TV or surf DU and other websites.

Every evening when I do go out to either my mom's or sis's and I return, I do the dishes and then get on the computer, check my e-mail and surf DU.

I have no friends nor do I really desire one very badly.

I have a very boring life, lol.

BTW, I'm not complaining.

3. I Relate To That Very Well
my coworkers tell me to "get a life"

I do get absorbed in things that ultimately are not that important.

I have been spending a lot of time on DU.

Escapism. Could be worse.

I'm boring, but I'm fun too!

5. The thing is, I'm very much the opposite of my sister...
She seeks socialization and fun. She goes out to bars and clubs while I'm the kind of person that would much rather spend time in a library, browsing a bookstore or eating in a restauraunt.

The latter is something of a bad habit as I spend a majority of my money, which is limited but there is something about food that I am attached to. Everyone gets on me about it.

6. Peace
If the word "content" can be used to describe how you feel about your life, well, enjoy that feeling for as much and as long as you can. It's all too uncommon, that feeling of contentment. I'd even say that it's rare. If you have it, cherish it.

8. I'm the same way.. I would do well in prison.
If I had a computer, books, and TV. And if the anal rape thing was taken off the table. I'm very happy being by myself.

10. yeah, that anal rape thing
That's a big spoiler isn't it? YIKES!
Honest to god, if I was out on bail, and there was a chance I'd have to do some time in a serious prison... well, goodbye USA, hello Chad. Living like an animal in some god-forsaken hellhole would be preferable.
You're right though. Take that "activity" off the table and maybe we can make a deal.

9. I just happen to be a creature of solace
I tend to want to be around people that are intelligent and of like mind. You aren't going to find that in a bar. I like to talk religion and politics alot and I know there are people that are put off by that, especially when you get into a deep, passionate discussion.

I guess that's why I am on DU so much.

My mom calls this site "Democrats Underground." She is by no means a Republican or a Democrat and is pretty apolitical. Of course I had to correct her what the true name is, but she forgets and calls it "Democrats Underground." "It makes me think of a bunch of Democrats underground somewheres." Her words. WTF? My mom's got a weird mind.

11. Life can and does change.
I've lived through "boring" years, and then things really, REALLY pick up. To the point where you'd really like a quiet get-away from all the hype and hoopla.

Your life won't be boring forever, I will bet you....... um...... $10.
