I'm depressed...
Edited on Sun Dec-17-06 03:03 AM by jaredh
This girl that I've had a crush on for months recently told me she no longer loves her boyfriend and likes me instead. The problem is, she won't leave her boyfriend because he keeps threatening to kill himself if she leaves him. Now, she's leaving her current job (which is how I keep in contact with her) and relocating to somewhere else on the other side of the city. Now I'm worried this whole issue will be left unresolved and I'll be forever wondering what might have been.... <sigh>

Thanks for listening to my drunken rant.

1. I'm sorry you're feeling low, jaredh.
Maybe, not tonight but maybe in the coming week, you should tell this woman how you feel, just as you've told us: "Now I'm worried this whole issue will be left unresolved and I'll be forever wondering what might have been...."

2. Ask her to marry you.
That will resolve it, one way or the other. At least you'll have an answer- and possibly much more!

3. She's Got Some Issues It Sounds Like
nothing she does or doesn't do is going to keep him from killing himself.

if he wants to do it he will

I'd talk to her, tell her how you feel, but my friend, she sounds very caught up in this guys drama and that means that she may be hard to reach.

best of luck

:pals:

4. if she is staying with someone because he ''threatens'' to kill
himself -- maybe this is a sign to stop, look and listen?

i would say she has some issues that should make red lights go off in your head.

becareful, please and take good care of yourself.
