The black and white one with the girls is very moving. I'm not sure what feelings it brings out in me, but it's a bit frightening.

What do all the doors symbolize? Do you put them in all your work?

37. They don't really symbolize anything.

It's just a surrealist thing, putting something where it logically shouldn't be. I don't put them in all of my work, but in that particular series, I've been using it as a motif. I think it was influenced partially by a scene in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and partially by a levl in one of the Silent Hill video games, haha.
