1. It was a GREAT season. I'm a little disappointed Ozzy came in second. |

2. I was leaning toward Yul, but Ozzy began to really grow |
|
on me with the finals shows because he had so much heart to win. It was one of the better seasons of Survivor.
Some of you think we're crazy but it's a fun guilty pleasure :).

5. Yes, Yul is certainly deserving, but Ozzy got to me, too. |
|
(And he's just so damned cute!) This was really one of the better seasons — with lots of surprises.
I've loved this show from the beginning; even when the people are dull, the locations are really beautiful.

3. I wanted Ozzy to win also. I was lucky I noticed it was on after 60 Minutes |
|
or else I would've missed it.

It is one of my guilty pleasures. I don't watch any of the other shows that came about after but there is something about this one that entertains me.
I loved both Yul and Ozzy but was hoping for Ozzy. He was so cute and seemed like a sweet kid and he was so fun to watch at the challenges.
This was one of the best I think. I was leery at first but it really turned out great.

16. I thought it was the best season in a while, too. I was hoping Yul would |
|
win until I noticed Ozzy was really playing the best physical game. I was glad to see it come down to both of them, though I was hoping Ozzy would win it.

17. Physically, Ozzie was amazing. It was sure heart-pounding in the balancing |
|
challenge; I thought he almost lost his balance a few times!

23. I think they were both deserving, but I wouldn't worry about Ozzy. |
|
I have not doubt he'll be back for the next all-stars season.

11. That popular culture has it's limits. |
|
As you illustrate by pointing out you've never seen American Idol (I haven't either, so we have that in common).

8. I believe it. There was just something about Survivor |
|
that drew me in. I think it tapped my spirit of adventure and the social experiment that Survivor is is very fascinating. I also watch The Amazing Race, and maybe a couple of other shows and that's it, besides the so-called cable "news".

18. I really wanted Ozzy to win |
|
I really grew to like him over the course of the season. He never gave up, he was focused and he had a lot of heart. He was quite a departure from a number of the self-centered & lazy youger set that they've had before.
I liked Yul a lot too. He reminds me of one of our recent mayors and an old friend of mine. The facial structure, the voice, but especially the measured analytical thinking, it reminded me of Boog.
I also liked Becky and Sundra a lot too. I couldn't believe they did so badly on that last challenge.

21. The right man definitely won. |
|
I would have been disappointed if it had gone to Ozzie. He grew on me as the season progressed, but he was no where near as deserving compared to Yul. He's very lucky he survived purposely throwing a challenge near the beginning of the season. That is just a spectacularly bad move, and a clear sign he isn't anywhere near Yul strategy-wise. Yeah, he won a lot of challenges, but the only reason he was around to continue to win those challenges was because of Yul turning things around so skillfully for Aitu. Survivor isn't just about physical strength. Yul's game play was by far the best I've ever seen. He was no slouch physically, either. The only reason the vote was as close as it was was is probably because of the spite of some of the Raros punishing him for beating them. Luckily there were enough on the jury that had the sense to put their pride aside.
