Still out of power....

Well, if you care about the pacific north west, you know that we were hit by a huge wind storm on Thursday. My family has been out of power since about six o clock thursday. We are still dark. I am currently staying at a hotel. Pray for power.

It's cold and I'm cranky. I managed to get on the computer in the lobby to post to all you DUers. Peace, love, and rock 'n' roll y'all.

1. happened to me last new years- five days without power...

Cold and dark-- I have a wood stove and a lantern, but life alone in a bubble of light in a dark, silent house, in a dark town, gets old after a few days. Here's hoping your life gets back to normal again soon!

2. Hey MMR, I've been thinking about you.

Figured you guys had lost power. We only lost it for about 10 hours, but I know there are thousands of people still without it.

I did hear on the news this evening that power crews from other states including Utah and California are coming in to help get the power back on.

I have school tomorrow. Crap. Our classrooms are going to be cold and everyone (Including myself) is going to be very pissy. I'm glad that you lost your power for such a short amount of time. Three or four days without electricity is getting very old.
