4. I saw a Strad 'bone

1938...it went for 750.00 and I've been kicking myself. It was a beautiful instrument.

This is exactly what he wants, though...all the way down to the open wrap and the F-trigger. He's gonna be delirious.

He's a good kid -- he's earned it.

in music education. Middle school, no less.

He's always played a school instrument and done it without complaint...it's time he has his own. And I can't wait until it actually gets here; it looks like a gorgeous instrument.

17. There's an idea...

I really hope that the instrument makes it...that would just make it the best Christmas ever. #3 son is getting a bass and amp and #1 son is getting a computer and #4 son's getting a new gameboy. I'd say what girly-poo's getting, but she's hanging over my shoulder.
