My mom just went back to the hospital because her headaches were really bad today. I think they let her leave the hospital too early. Don't worry about me just please send prayers to her right now.

10. My prayers and all karma I can muster (!) are with her...
... and with you. YES, you need prayers too, because a loved one is ill. Don't think it's taking away from prayers for your mom. That's not how it goes, right? And one more reason: You have to be strong to deal with hospitals, doctors, insurance companies and all that crap. You're worried about her care? Let people know. Be brave, and don't hold back. I have been through this before, so many times. Stick up for yourself and your mother. No one cares more about her than you do, so USE that power you have. Yes, it is a power.

All my best and good thoughts.

11. Everytime I try to help someone (her husband) says something stupid.
She had an aneurysm about 4 weeks ago. She was doing good up until today. I don't know what happened. I pray to God that someone was giving her her medicine like they were supposed to. No one has called me from the hospital.

13. Make it clear that you are very concerned...
...whether it's because of stupid things people are saying or your own feelings. Don't be rail-roaded by idiots who only think they know what's for the best. There's too much at stake.

16. Its hard - my family already thinks I am crazy because I went through depression and took Paxil.
Its a shame that people think that you're a weak person because I had to get medicated. I am a strong person because I decided not to be weak anymore.

My nerves are shot. I have an hour and a half to sleep until I get ready for work. I don't have really anyone in person to talk except for one of my aunts. Everyone else does'nt understand why I act the way I do and why I cry sometimes. I can't believe that people act like I should be normal just because they don't show their emotions on the outside. Everytime someone comes over to the house to visit they like to order me around like " do this or do that for your mom" as if I am doing something wrong or trying to make me look bad. And I am so sick off it because I am the one who is always here. I don't sleep during some days , I don't go to work some days because I take care of her. And why else should I not be sad , this is my mom , who in the world would want to see their mom in pain. Maybe I am suffering through PTSD but I don't show it in front of other people. But its not about me but I am sick of being treated like I am the one causing the problems. This shit sucks. I want my mom to be healthier and I am not sorry that I am not letting anyone in the way of her getting the best care - if you don't like it then tough.

20. I was not going to reply until I read this. My family has had pretty awful
medical ups & downs this past year. Sometimes when you are taking care of people who are sick you can't do anything right even though "technically" you are doing 150% the correct thing. Everyone is upset & tuning them out is darn near impossible. Please think about those who are a good core support system & lean on them. Those who are causing unnecessary stress tell them to leave the cookies & casserole on the counter & thanks for their "concern". As for the sick person, forgive them for they are difficult & we love them anyway.
