4. Um, can I just say?....

I gave a sermon on Sunday about how I am a total Christmas geek despite the fact I do not celebrate the holiday as the birth of Jesus / incarnation of God. I STILL had someone in the dialogue after the sermon say, "let me guess, you're not a secular Unitarian Universalist."

So because I dig the decorations, bake cookies until my fingerprints burn off and belt carols at the top of my lungs...I'm NOT an atheist. Sorry, but the majority of Christmas trappings are non-denominational and totally secular. At least as far as I'm concerned.

which is the Russian Orthodox Church Outside (of) Russia. Palindromes are cool and this will give you an excuse to celebrate Christmas twice because on Dec 25th you can say "Screw the rules, we're lapsed, Xmas is now" 13 days later you can say, "I don't give a shit what all the Western devils do, we might be lapsed, but we're lapsed ROCOR, and we're having some Christmas NOW!"
