At least, that's what I think happened.

I didn't even recognize her. Why do plastic surgeons do that?

I loved her "real" look. I can't get used to her "new" look.

Tell me you noticed it...

1. nope, sorry
didn't notice.

If I was a tv watching kind of person, I might have; the linked page says she was an anchor in Denver; but I never saw her on tv.

Do you have a "before" picture of her? Or an "after"? Since I've never seen her, I don't know which this pic would be...

I was drawn into the thread by "...beautiful redhaired..." :)

:hi:

4. I tried to look for photos that show a before and after, but can't find them.

I just know that she didn't have a "hollow" above her eyes before and now she does.

I think Heidi Collins is stunning, and she deserves all kind of compliments for her voice and poise -- and I think about all the plastic surgery work that has been done on Barbara Walters, who also looks pretty damned good for a woman in her 70s. I worked around the corner from her in the 1960s. She was with the "Today Show" unit; I worked for the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson, before that group moved to Burbank, California.

Sometimes I think about plastic surgery, then I see someone who looks like a zombie and I say, "Forget it!"

6. I also went looking
and presumably found some "before" photos, but nothing really showed her very well for comparative purposes. Having looked at a couple dozen photos, she does seem to have a "surprised" look to her eyes.

"Who the hell is that?"

And then there's Joan Rivers.

A couple of men who I'm sure have had their eyelids nipped: Joe Scarborough and Tim Russert. I can pick 'em out a mile away.

5. Bill O'Reilly used to be on TV in Boston. I lived there, but didn't watch him.
I still don't.

3. Not sure about her eyes, but I love her hair!
I took her picture to my hair stylist once and she did a pretty good job copying it. Unfortunately I could never get it to look like that on my own!

7. Highlighting on naturally red hair is very difficult. Some people come out
with zebra stripes. In general, I think the women of CNN look quite good and I can't say any one of them really bothers me. It just shows what a wonderful pool of young women have come along since I started in television in 1957 in a local, live children's show in Miami, Florida.
