I got home from jail today.

The SO and I were arrested on drug related charges last Sunday. I don't want to give details, suffice it to say we fucked up. The MIL managed to find the money to get us out for now, so that was very fortunate on our part- he only had to stay one night, I only had to stay two. We'll see what happens in court. What a fucking reality check, lemme tell ya. Feeling pretty crappy and looking forward to some real food and a decent bed tonight. Blah. I probably won't be around much for awhile, got a lot of work to do.

At least MIL came through and the jail part is over for now.

Court can be a bitch depending on your prior (s) if there are any. Hope there isn't. I know I went through lots of jail/court shit with my ex-boyfriend. It ain't fun.

you may be able to get the record expunged under a first-time offender statute in exchange for a guilty plea and a year or so on probation. I'd definitely recommend looking into it, anyway.
