20. I couldn't sit through it,
I hate that sort of music too badly to listen to it for more than thirty seconds a clip. What's the gist of the joke?

27. I actually tried a second time and couldn't do it.
My hatred of that music borders on postal hatred. I could watch it with the sound down, but I'm guessing I'd lose a lot of the joke. I'm prefectly happy having found someone nice enough to break it down for me. Thanks again :)

11. He should go into acting full time.
I've noticed on his tee vee appearances his "voice" is usually buried in the mix almost to where you can't hear him. Why is that? :dunce:

I can honestly say I've never heard a song of his on the radio. Mainly because I don't listen to too much radio. }(

12. I really dug the second song he did on SNL...
When he was playing the piano. Good tune, and I don't like that style of music generally. his band is top notch too, smoking guitar players...

14. Good for him and all but he is a perfect example of packaging and marketing
Basically the public had this product shoved down their throat.

The means here is to simple establish how cool he is how hip it is to like him (you do want to be cool don't you?) and oh yeah how great his "music" is. Well the music is cut and paste pop crap and even I don't see the great attraction to this guy. The hair cut must be an inside joke about how screwed up we can make him look (I am dancing around using the apt phrase) and still selling him as "Sexy". Since he had been out of the spotlight for a while they recharged the machinery by having someone write him a song entitled with "sex" or "Sexy" in it.

Great band, he has a good voice, and is a good performer.

I am oblivious to most pop music, and managed to ignore all publicity.

39. I really don't know what he's saying. But it makes my ears bleed.
I can't stand songs that have endless repetition. It's like, can't you muster enough creativity to write a chorus that isn't ONE LINE repeated fifty times or so?

Music these days is retarded.

And not a one of them have had to pretend that "they" brought sexy back. What a jack off.
