As a few of you know, I've had an enormous amount of personal shit thrust upon me the last couple of years, and I've been attempting to move forward and get back to the place personally and professionally I was a few years ago. Saying "it hasn't been easy" is gross understatement.

ANYWAY, it appears a job offer is in the works that would put me back at the (very comfy) salary level I used to have, as well as into a position that is quasi-"in the industry" (those of you in LA know that's Hollywoodspeak for the movie biz). So, this has the double opportunity for me of significantly increasing my pay from what I've been earning, along with a possible toe in the door RE that stack of screenplays I've been working on all these years.

My headhunter is trying to get a firm offer by the end of the week, so I hereby request all positive thoughts, vibes, prayers, burnt offerings, interpretive (but positive!) dance, etc.
