adapting another recipe sort of things

I'm making a pretty basic cookie dough (brown sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs) and adding some irish whiskey--just for color, don't you know
OOPS--left out the flour . . .

then I'm melting a bunch of chocolate, with some coffee and more irish whiskey (just for flavor don't you know) and maybe some powdered sugar (for body) to make an icing

At least that's my plan.


Last night it was rum oatmeal cranberry cookies. Those are pretty darn good if I say so myself.

Cookies and the big batch of homemade green chili that is simmering on the back burner are my main Christmas gifts to give friends and family this year, since I have no job and no money.
