What has your pet done for you lately?
Last night I was repairing my computer (new case I semi-regret buying despite its larger size - cheap aluminum). It was 11PM and I heard an odd thud noise. I ignored it and kept working.

Then I heard the parrot squawk. Seemed the usual "I want attention!" noise.

A couple minutes, the same squawk is made. But it seemed louder.

I get up and turn around and the parrot managed to find her way out of her came, come out, and find me. She wanted attention. :loveya:

For now on I go to bed at 10:15PM as I used to do. :)

2. Got me into a bike accident.
A neighbor kid was riding on the sideway towards us and he got so excited by the puppy that he forgot he had brakes! He'd just learned to ride and plowed right into us. No one got hurt but, whew! That was close.

:hi:

4. Mine? Humbled me.
If I lost a major limb, I can promise that I'd be the whining-est, crying-est baby there is. Not my boy.

He's also made realize that our time together is going to be short. Like a 7-lb sledge to the head, it's quite the wakeup call. I appreciate each minute more.

13. Thank you so much
My cats are my 3 ring circus, drama, sit-com, horror movie, reminder of my status in life, and source of exercise. In other words, they drive me nuts...But I wouldn't trade them for anything.

10. Emma
Is always there when I need a hug. She is laying at my feet right now on the bed. Just now, before I saw this post, I thought I really wanted to snuggle with her. I'm feeling really really low right now. She always makes me feel better.

She knows when I'm having a bad time, because then she will rarely leave my side. When I'm ok, she sleeps elsewhere. She'll even help me to get out of bed in the mornings when I really would rather hide under the covers all day.

I love her to bits. :loveya:

Emma is the black one.

Ben is just a PITA, but I love him too of course.

And as soon as I hit post, I am going to get some snuggles in.

14. Sorry you're feeling low.
Hopefully your beautiful pups will cheer you up. If not, maybe your friends at DU will.

17. The cat I own with my mom (lives at her house) is a working cat. She hasn't had a single rat
try to get into her house since he moved in. Just the mere presence of a cat in the house has been deterrent enough. He was a cat the neighbor stopped feeding and ignored so, he moved in with my mom and I pay the bills. He much prefers living indoors during his golden years.

We couldn't wish for a more pleasant, sweet-natured kitty. He's such a lap-sitter!
