I seriously need to travel more..

I timed out both times I tried this "third grade test" I missed 2 midwestern states and a couple on NE coast. Sheesh...

See how you do: http://www.pibmug.com/files/map_test.swf

(Note: Lower-48 states; Alaska and Hawaii aren't on map)

1. All of them
I actually had one mistake but it was because it was hard to get my mouse to stop on the tiny area of Delaware. So it thought I had it in Maryland.

6. Everybody's good at something
Geography's not your strong point? You probably rock at math or something.

I suck at it. x(

Well... except baseball statistics. :bounce:

5. All 50
I've taken this test before. Aced it.

When I was like 5, I had a map of the U.S. that was like a jigsaw puzzle. It taught me all the states and their capitals and turned me into a geography freak.

You wanna really have some fun, try Geosense: http://www.geosense.net/

7. Thanks O-Rex!
Ok.. I finally got all 50, but it took a few tries.. I live in Anchorage, so I guess a trip to the lower-48 is long overdue!

Pretty fun looking puzzles on that site you suggested! I saved it to play later tonight (after an eggnog or two) ~~

8. Geosense is tough
I've zeroed out cities a couple of times. Made me go "YES!" :woohoo:

Used to play against a friend who's also a geography geek. He'd whoop my ass in world, but I'd edge him in U.S. — no doubt because I've been a map freak since I was a kid.
