5. Either stove-top or oven (gas stove, that is) - not sure about an
electric one. It is supposed to act like an oven itself and makes food juicy and tender. I've got some chicken going now with some spices (curry & cumin) - a little white wine and Campbell's Golden Mushroom Soup. Smells delish. I'm using mine on the stovetop.
