Very windy day here in LA--our building is actually swaying.
I work in the twin towers in Century City, and the buildings are built on rollers (for seismic reasons). It's very, very windy this morning, and the buildings are rocking back and forth like a ship on the water. Trippy. In quieter places in the building, you can actually hear the walls creaking.

1. Scary monsters!
As my almost 30-year-old niece said as a little girl!

2. Oooh!
*that's* what I'm feeling!

I'm not in a high rise, but I could have sworn the building was moving earlier...and it did correspond to large gusts of wind. Interesting!

3. I just overheard our office manager say that a tree at her house has blown over...
...and damaged their garage. Blustery day!
