I would have gone before today, but I didn't have the $$ until yesterday...Walmart, the Mall, B&N...insane, i mean INSANE, traffic...Many near collisions *not* involving me...Wow, this beer tastes good :beer:

Yesterday we came back from the beach mid day and had to exit the freeway one stop short of our usual because the traffic heading to our regional shopper's paradise was that backed up. I'm going to run errands in a bit but on foot and public trans -- no freaking car rides for me today or tomorrow if I'm heading anywhere near retail.

depending on the menu for the Xmas dinner... glad to hear your mother is still do well.

I used some of my turkey stock for an onion soup base....worked well.
