I need help figuring out how to tip my super! |
|
He doesn't live in my building, so I can't just drop it off. If I mail cash to the management company (where I send the rent) I'm worried he won't get it. If I make it a check, it might be a hassle for him. Any suggestions?

I'd keep it with me and give it to him next time I saw him. I don't think it matters much if he gets it after 12/25. Oh, and I'd definitely give him cash.
Good luck!

I never see him unless something goes wrong, and the building is actually pretty well maintained. Maybe I'll ask my neighbors what they did.

would it be a big deal for him if you reported "something wrong" but just used it as an excuse to give him his tip and maybe some treat for coming out that day? Might be a clever way to give it to him in person, if a service call like that wouldn't throw him off his schedule.
