We do a gift exchange at my parents Christmas day. Everyone brings one gift, and we trade names at that time.
There is a $5 limit - most of us go to $10 It has to be appropriate for anyone from 8 years to my 85 year old parents.
This should be easy - but it is the biggest stumper of the season.

(I'm eating m&m &E &w &3's (depnds how you turn 'em :) ) )
deck of cards, if people inyourfamily play cards.
batteries? - useful in toys, clocks, flashlights etc. - but the variation in sizes could be tricky.
cheese ball, or other food item.
 - I'm doing pretty good for someone who loathes shopping without having a list from the person I'm shopping for. :)
Best wishes on finding that "perfect" gift, and Happy Christmas to you and those you love.
:hi:
