7. For some reason I suck at copying links |
|
and they never work. But if you use the DU search feature and put in Africam, you'll find some threads with links. Also, you can go to Africam.com. Then look on the left and click on the words "Nkhoro stream". That will usually take you there too. It's getting dark there now, but you can see critters at night too. That is when I usually see elephants.

I saw hyenas...and another time elephants. I keep thinking the big cats will come at night, but no luck. Tune in around 7:30 am EST and you'll see plenty between then and noonish. Also after midnight our time....

I find it interesting though, that the male lions are just lying there, while the female was eating earlier. It's as if they are waiting their turn.

49. What I heard last night (CA time)... |
|
sounded as if something has being eated alive -- it was terrible. The two cats I saw turn up afterwards both had the red faces and paws of a cat that just had an extra rare nosh. :D
As soon as I got up this morning, I turned on the cam to see the kitty buffet in progress, live and in color. Yikes, those have been some pretty busy felines!
There it is -- Nature in all Her beauty and gore.

Actually that was a male and female relaxing under the tree there ... for a little while at any rate. The pride seems to have lost interest in their meal and spread out. Awfully quiet apart from the lions this morning.
