The three types of Republicans
There are three kinds of Republicans. Bet you didn't know that. Yep to use the words of Don Rumsfeld "By golly" we got three kinds of GOPer's. You know who they are?

1. People who do bad things but just don't realize it.

These people wouldn't do their bad deeds if only they knew they were doing evil things. If they KNEW that throwing a unemployed tenant out on the Thanksgiving Holiday in order to allow their daughter's family to move in for the holidays? Well they wouldn't do a hurtful thing like that.

These people want to believe they are good people. Good Christians in fact. They celebrate Christmas every year. That's why the daughter's family moved in, remember? To celebrate Christmas. Evicting the poor unemployed tenant was "just a good business decision". They also aspire to become "Good Capitalists". Usually anyway.

2. People who are just plain evil.

These are people who feel very comfortable being evil. So easy with their situation in fact that they really don't care what their victims say about them. Just so long as it doesn't get reported in the papers or on TV. Then it is "All the liberal Media's fault".

Karl Rove and Dick Cheney are these sort of people: They refused to serve their country honorably in an elective war they vigorously supported the right of others to DIE in. Nixon & Johnson's Vietnam War that is. Plenty of people went to that war and died or got badly hurt.

Dick and Karl stayed home.

People that are just plain evil can be defined as those who have the rest of the world pay all their bills, fight their wars and blame the world's problems on foreign leaders. Or the Liberals. Some people think the president is one of these. And it is possible. The three categories do tend to blur across the spectrum. However President George W. Bush really falls into the third category:

3. People who are just really phuckin SchTOOpid!

Don't know how to define the term "Stupid people". Not yet anyway. So please excuse me if all I can provide is an example.

Otto is 48 year old auto mechanic in California. "Otto" "Auto"? Same thing really. Both are motorheads...

He is of half Irish/ half German descent. His wife took the kids away from him because he drinks too much. When Otto drinks he spends too much money or loses his job. Now Otto didn't mean to lose his job or spend all his money while drunk but he did so anyway. So his Asian wife took the kids and had him arrested. Restraining order they call it. Violation of etc.

When Otto is working he doesn't get a union wage. This is because his employers are cruel people. Otto doesn't have a medical insurance plan, a savings account or even a paid vacation. Probably doesn't have a checking account either. Lives week to week on the money he makes when he IS working and bums money from his friends when he isn't. He shouldn't be drinking alcohol either because his doctor is really worried that he will have another heart attack. Booze will raise your blood pressure.

Yet poor Otto keeps drinking anyway.

And when Otto gets to drinking he always gets drunk. After that happens he goes over to my former landlord's house in San Francisco and rants about:

"Asians"

"Gays"

"Black people" Otto uses another word to describe them.

"Mexicans" or really what he means is

"Illegal immigrants"

And of course:

"Liberals".

Now Otto isn't a bad person. He means well and will help you jump start your car if you have motor trouble. Not everyone would help you do that. Dick Cheney wouldn't help you do that. Nor his daughter Mary. Otto though? He will help a total stranger start his car in the pouring rain for free and expect no payment. Otto's problem is that he's really just phuckin SctOOpid.

He gets stupid by listening to Michael Savage EVERY day at five O'Clock (KSFO 560AM San Francisco). You should hear Otto talk about Mike Savage. Quotes him word for word. Otto is really proud of that!

1. Does it have to be "Otto" for the stupid one?
My Dad's name is Otto, and he's not "shtoopid."

A bit racist, but not the drinker who's wife left him.

2. Otto is his real name
His name really IS Otto and works as a mechanic in Northern california. I feel free to leave his name here as he would never browse the pages of a democratic party forum. Making the chance of libel suits miniscule.

I on the other hand DO post on at least one right wing blog. Hahaha! makes em wince whenever I bring up a touchy topic. My latest endeavor was to "castigate Rush Limbaugh for causing Missouri to vote for Claire McCaskill". Then I bopped them on the head for trashing Gold Star Mothers like Cindy Sheehan.

Can get away with it because I periodically post a bunch of partisan right wing crap. they eat it up sideways and think the Beast is "just another rightie". Hope they elect me moderator! lol...

"Otto" is a fine name. However this particular one I know is as dumb as a sack of rocks on the level of understanding any matters political. And his wife left him for good reason: Spent all his money on booze and cocaine.
