What the f***?

I can't turn the radio on this year without hearing SOME über-hipster duet of this decaying, wormy chestnut.

What happened? Did some camp-driven DJ bring a scratchy copy of the original to Rat Pack Night at some influential NYC nightclub late last year? It seems like a hundred acts, most of them minor, decided to re-make the thing, at the same time. At least it's not that Elmo-and-Patsy piece of dreck.

In 2003 it was a hundred bad re-makes of Santa Baby ... I guess after this year's bumper crop of "Baby It's Cold Outside"s, we're safe until about 2009.

Maybe that will be the year of "Christmastime For The Jews."
