15. Status Update: The Day After.

Log entry: 12/26/2006 02:42 MST


After HAL refused to open the pod bay doors, I re-entered the 'Star Quest' by
sneaking in through the hull access air lock.

I've managed to gain direct contact with the brain of the beast by prying open
it's synthetic case with a judicious application of a flat screw driver and
a hammer.

It's mumbling something in an Asian language now... and the lights keep
flickering. I've entered my self sustaining environment suit in case the
ship's internal Life Support fails completely.

Soon, I'll be interrogating the circuit board with a multimeter in an attempt
to discover the whereabouts of the 'P-U' and 'P-D' keys.

If I don't return... Please, tell my wife I love her very much.
