I named one of my cats "Flea Taxi" and the girls at the vet always back away for a second until they realize it is JUST A NAME!

This is a pic of "flea taxi" serving as a pillow for my dog Larry. His brother, Chairman Meow is in the background.

23. let the dog pick out his own name... here's how
write suggested names on separate pieces of paper. crumple each paper up.

toss them on the floor, let the dog check them out - which ever paper he tries to eat is the one with his name on it

Nog

Sugar Plum

Santa

Dickens

Jingles

Bows

55. Try naming something him after some interest of yours...
I named my baby Haley after Charles Haley, my all time favorite defensive player for the Dallas Cowboys. My brother named his doggie Bridget because she was found under a bridge.

In the meantime, I suggest:

Bailey
Rufus
Hodges
Steny (Hoyt)
Remy
Milo
Rico
Conner
Conyers
