I dread the inevitable rush job James Brown biopic

you just know it's coming in the next year, along the lines of overrated made-for-tv-esque drivel like 'ray' and the utterly blasphemous 'walk the line'

1. Actually, Ray and Walk the Line were in production way before their deaths.

2. PBS did a pretty good James Brown documentary a while back

I rather liked Walk the Line, but I'd watch pretty much anything with Juaquin Phoenix in it. FWIW, Walk the Line was planned before they died, in fact Johnny and June were involved in selection of the actors who would play them.

i was not so crazy about Ray, as the end seemed very shallow and rushed. The music, of course, was amazing.
