:D :toast: :party: Had lunch with my family at my sister's house an hour away from me, and nobody acted like an asshole. :woohoo: There were no cross words or snippy attitudes, and this was a first for my family! I'm so proud of them! :hug:

The only drawback is that because of the holidays, I'm really far behind on DU and have a lot of catching up to do. Anything dramatic happen while I've been gone (other than James Brown dying)?

17. I'm so glad - mine has been good, too

Very low-key which is wonderful and relaxing. Just the SO and I - we don't normally exchange gifts but this year, we both surprised each other. I got him a bottle of Chivas Regal and he very sneakily had set things up so he could give me a nice hot oil massage (he gives a great massage)

In addition, I'm off today and tomorrow, the first time in 6 months that I've had 2 days in a row off and I've been working hard.

My son called yesterday to thank me for his gift. I was going to call him but having him (he's 19) take the initiative makes me feel pretty good.

So, yeah, all around a really nice day. :)
