Has anyone seen Celtic Woman?
Edited on Mon Dec-25-06 08:34 PM by Minnesota_Lib
OMG! I downloaded both of their DvDs via bittorrent and they are incredible! I ran out and bought the one that is released and can't wait for the Jan 30th release of the New Journey concert at at Slane Castle, Ireland (I have a bootleg taped from a PBS station but will buy it on release).

If you have not seen these incredibly gifted Irish lasses perform, you owe it to yourselves to check it out.

And if you like kick-ass fiddle playing dancing pixies (in the form of Máiréad Nesbitt), you have a major treat in store. LOL

Torrents (use only if you like it and plan on buying it). I'll seed them for ya. It's legal...but please buy them if you like them (the better quality is only one factor plus giving the artists what is due them is the other. Please!).

A New Journey (medium quality PBS TV rip of a great concert -- official release 01/30/07) http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/558813/775222/

Celtic Woman (already released...if you like it, buy it!) http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/270757/ The CD of this concert shattered Billboard's Worldwide Top Sellers chart record of 62 weeks at # 1. After 84 weeks at # 1 it was finally bumped to # 2 by....Celtic Woman's next album. LOL

Enjoy!!!!!

3. Wow, thanks! I heard them briefly for the first time today, and
I was totally entranced. I love their music and their voices. I'll have to come back to the torrents site though because they're not currently accepting registrations. Bookmarked it!

4. I turned my mom on to them last year.
Got her the CD and the first DVD. She loves them.

Added bonus: my ex-wife asked me what she should get my mom for Xmas and I mentioned that she loves the Celtic Women and that they are coming to Radio City in NYC. So my ex-wife got primo tix for the two of them to go together (they are still close, even after the divorce). So I scored points with both my mom and my ex!

Cool, huh?
