Dad got me a docking stereo for my ipod. Holy crap, this thing sounds so good, I can't believe it, considering how it's pretty small.

1. I got the shuffle

2. I got a 30 gig video version last year.

I still haven't managed to fill the thing up entirely, but I'd be pretty constrained by a shuffle or a nano. I like to have a big selection of music for long car trips.

It sounds awesome, even when I turn it up loud. Most of the other docking stereos I've heard sounded tinny.

4. And a nano for me

I'm a podcast ho, and am trying to subscribe to all the casts I had when I had an iPod for work, but the iTunes site has been wonky (no doubt from overuse) all day.

But I have a question: Does it have an earphone jack? I'd like to hook it up to my computer, too, but I'm not always listening through the speakers, so for now I have two sets of speakers sitting on my desk, one for the computer (with an earphone jack) and a sound station for the iPod (without an earphone jack.)
