My Christmas was pretty great too, despite my mid-evening nap being interrupted by friends who decided to abduct me.

8. Bring very, very warm clothes. |
|
We haven't had a real winter here yet so that makes me worry end of Jan. beginning of Feb will be bad. You do know the 27th is KO's b-day? I know you have wanted to go so give your mom extra hugs for this present and glad you talked her (or cleaned her) into it. BTW I am a MIA KOEB but did leave a card for the group and do read the threads so a belated welcome.

and thermal undies in case. If winter goes like it has so far the damn cherry trees may be in bloom. But living in MD like I do Mother Nature tends to hit us hard that time of year. So layers are good so you are prepared in case she hits us. I think it would be a great present for KO, along with a tie and mug. Though he has yet to wear the Garcia.
Edited to add, take a camera, we will want pictures.

Though Target, I admit is a cut above Wal Mart in the clothing department. :)
I think I still have some long underwear from when I went skiing. I'm from the south so I know nothing about cold weather...haha.

cold and don't worry about ties. I bet the what to get KO for a b-day present starts soon in the clubhouse. Since we all chip in it isn't much. I think we sent two ties last year at $5. a person tops. And only from those that could but signed from all. Maybe after the first if it isn't already started I will start it. Just deciding is fun.

Where are you staying? I am staying at the Harrington with the Camp Casey crew.
We had a DU meetup in New York at the UPJ march last April. It was awesome. We should definitely have a meetup in DC.
I will start posting threads about getting together in DC in a few weeks. Let's hope it works out :hi:

A march in Mississippi would bring out like 6 people. It look like a FReeper counter-protest or something  With less portopotties though ;)
