Best song J.B. ever cranked out was Mother Popcorn. Aerosmith later covered it -- somewhat painfully. But the Godfather's version is the one to live and, er, die for.

8. The 1st James Brown album I bought was 1963's "Prisoner of Love"
on King Records. It stayed on the turntable until it wore out and that was some thick vinyl.
