Retail?
I don't mind being at the office because it's quiet and I can do some much-needed housecleaning*.

*Note: I'm not a housecleaner. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

9. Nope
We have to do a presentation to our government client next week and I have another deliverable due on Thursday. Plus one of the UPSs on the server died Friday as I was leaving for the day. It looks like the server switch has also burned out so I have to set up a key board/mouse/monitor for each server.

10. Yoiks. You do have a busy week ahead.
I recommend suing the maker of the UPS for false advertising. Not very 'U', is it?

Good luck.

Happy Merry, my friend.

I'm not working today, but I must Weds. - Fri. But I like my new job. Not only do I not dread going in, I kinda look forward to it. The offices & my workspace help. Such a vast improvement over my last workplace.

5. Hey baby! I'm on vacation all week.
I'll be spending my time in beautiful downtown Hooterville, doing absolutely nothing except drinking wine. Well, and taking Little Bunny shopping for her birthday.

Did you have a nice Christmas? Me and the Bunnies Junior had a very nice time -very relaxing with a lot of good presents and way too much food. :hi:

Don't work too hard. ;)

7. Hey Sweets!
Glad to hear you had a good day yesterday. :hi: We did too, a real 'jammie day' in which everyone sat around in our nightwear all day. Got up at about noon, did not open gifts until 3PM.

Kids would have hated it. x(

Slowly paced, and great food.

Ah, vacation. Have a glass or two for me - I prefer the sauvignon blancs :9

11. Christmas break but
As a teacher, I'm on holiday break until the end of January, when the spring semester starts. But I still have to finish up grades from the last semester, organize for the new semester, and do all those things I didn't have time to do during the regular semester: like finish cleaning up leaves, putting away outdoor pots, etc. Actually, considering the weather, maybe I should just figure it's spring and not do any of it. My tulips are already three inches tall!

:hi: Richardo!

Boy, is this a lazy day off for me so far...I'm going to watch a few Netflix movies at home...I just finished watching a movie I like very much, "The Loved One" starring Robert Morse, Jonathan Winters...I'm going to watch "The Ruling Class" after this one.

I hope the day is very uneventful for you. :-)

15. I was going to take this whole week off
But a client needs me from Wednesday through Friday. Can't turn one of my best paying and most reliable clients down when they need me. Today I slept in and currently goofing-off between washing clothes while Mrs. DTW is at work.

18. Definitely me.
A lot of people take time off, but we still need a certain number of staffers to keep things going. I get to be one of the elves keeping Santa's workshop going all year round, as it were.

27. I do. Plus I have to move this weekend.
Oh and, I thought this would be an easy work week but we just got two projects handed to us today that have to get done fast and done well. And I have to go to a wedding out of town the day after I move and somehow in the middle of all that see friends who are visiting from out of state.

Yay?

Oh well. It's not that bad and it could be worse.

Edited on Tue Dec-26-06 10:23 PM by Redstone
And I didn't start it today, as planned. Got ambushed by the flu.

Guess I'll be REAL busy tomorrow and the rest of the week, viruses in my body or not. It's a $36K project.
