Rural Tennessee to be precise. Quite a change for a blue stater like me to visit where giant metal sheds are labeled "Worship Center" in giant 10-foot letters, where perfect strangers call you "honey" and describe their rheumatism in the checkout line, where every food store sells country ham (yum), where Chinese food includes tacos, where hunting is a serious pastime. Some good, some bad, all remarkably different for being just a a couple of states away.
