How many times do you commit that cowardly offense? I do it in GD DAILY..sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.

I see someone being an asshole, and post a flame in response, but then subsequently lose my taste for a flame war and ignore it.

I pretend not to see that it has replies until it falls out of the last 20 posts. Even then I don't really relax until two days later.

but in GD - Politics these days its hard not to. My latest offense was cursing at someone for their knowitall post, and hitting the ignore button. I have a response, checked MY DU, but I refuse to read it. I'm not useless, I just don't want to get pissed off again.

I usually feel compelled to read those responses so I change the settings such that I can see only one of my most recent posts. Then I post like crazy to get the horrible thing out of my top twenty. I've never seen you post anything nasty or controversial, but then I venture out of the Lounge only once a day, in the morning usually.

10. I do it all the time depending on what i post BUT i would never

START a thread then abandon the thread. maybe that is why I never start threads. :shrug:

when I post and run in a thread it is because sometimes i just want to speak my mind then be done with it rather than stick around and deal with the aftermath of my post, if i get responses. i often don't check for responses. i sometimes will post on a thread then hide the thread immediately after. it all depends.

it's just my style to comment and move on. And in my defense I have a disintegrated disc in my lower back that needs a decompression fusion. I can't sit at the computer for very long. I have to stand up and walk around to stretch out. I want so much to make friends in the lounge but I'm such a jerk about sticking around long enough to hold a conversation or participate in a flame fest. Gotta run :)
