Not having enough financial credit history sucks ! |

I make more than enough money to afford my own place but I always get declined with the credit check because I need a co-signer. I can afford the rent - its no problem but I don't have a credit history - I should not be sad, I could have a bad credit history. But really why do they hurt us when we are just starting out. Oh all I want is to be free in my own place.

1. Find 3 established adults over 30 that will vouch for your character. Former teachers, an employer etc.
2. Offer extra security such as paying first and last months rent up front in addition to the refundable security deposit.
3. make sure the rent plus utilities is under 30% of your gross income. A higher percentage may hurt you too.
