I never thought to ask until now but it's been bothering me... Why do some of the threads have that "flame" image? I tried to find criteria in the rules section but came up empty.
Can someone clarify it for me?

2. When it reaches a certain amount of posts/replies, it starts flaming. |
|
So a flaming thread is a popular one, basically.

4. It's supposed to signify a 'hot' thread... |
|
Which has many replies.
I've never seen a hard and fast rule for it, but, it seems like around 40 replies in a short period of time will make the flaming icon appear.
