Why dont we see grown ups buzzing around on those sneaker-skates...
or whatever those things are that little kids glide around on in the market. They seem like so much fun. Do they even make those for grown ups?

3. I see "grown ups" on them
I'm sure they're fun, They're silly in an office setting, but some people aren't concerned with that.

4. They're called Heelys. They are made in adult sizes, but adults don't wear them because
we'd look really dumb to our co-workers, falling on our asses as we try to glide down the offic hallway.

5. I thought about getting a pair for traveling around airports.
They are so big that it just seems to me that it would be easier to skate from one terminal to the next for flight changes, baggage claim, etc.

6. Oh, the other part is that there's a strip of tape with a waiver on it, kind of like
a software shrinkwrap license, that you have to remove before you can put the wheels in.

It says "By removing this tape, I agree that I won't sue you, not matter what extent of brain damage I get from falling down while using your product, no matter how defective or dangerous it might be."

Most adults don't care for thst kind of thing.

9. I don't know about other adults, but those things irritate the piss out of me...
:grr: I cannot count the number of times I was nearly mowed over in stores this holiday season by kids having "fun" gliding out of aisles without paying any attention to people walking down the main aisles. Their parents weren't far behind them, and they were either laughing or ignoring what the kids were doing. :eyes: One of the kids in question slammed into my shopping cart and fell on his ass, and one of the other times, another kid bumped into me without even saying anything.

14. Because we have inner ear conditions or are more sensible in the first place?
So far, the dangerous kids usually hang inappropriately on shopping carts or run around like unleashed hyenas. But one day one kid is going to roll into trouble and then the stores will put up all those signs saying "Sneakerskates not allowed" and everybody will then throw a tantrum.

Maybe the city should make a designated park where kids can glide to their hearts' content. Inside a store filled with aisles, people, and in stores like Petco the pets too is not safe, is dangerous, is stupid, and the insurance company shouldn't have to pay for "act of thoughtless fool". And that's beggin' for trouble.

Sorry.
