Anyone here every actually see Jimi Hendrix in concert?
I'm going through a bunch of live stuff right now...and man he was experimental! The show I'm hearing right now has a flutist jamming with the band.

I wasn't even born when this was recorded (1968) but he was WAYYYYY ahead of his time. And ya know, I don't think he cared.

1. Husband just missed seeing him in Tucson in the early/mid sixties
at some bowling alley, but he was just a kid and didn't know who he was.

8. I was going with a friend...she rolled her VW into a field in SW Denver...we
walked back to the road and hitched to the Denver PoP Festival...we were all scraped up and in bloody clothes...now I laugh!

His mum was in the audience, full blood native american. He paid tribute to her then did his version of the national anthem. He lives forever.
