Poll question: Who's more hopeless--the Raiders or the Lions?
Edited on Wed Dec-27-06 09:18 AM by Arkham House
I know, this isn't exactly an easy choice--both teams seem trying to qualify for the Pee Wee League...but someone has to be #1(sic)...which is it?

2. No light on the Vikes' horizon, either...
Not much cause for optimism in Minnesota right now.

3. At least the Lions have Jon Kitna, and I'm not joking.
Kitna can still put up decent numbers, and he has no problem helping rookie quarterbacks. As a Bengals fan, I remember being outraged that he was starting during Carson Palmer's first year. But, as it turns out, he was instructing Palmer on the sidelines. Kitna's like the Yoda of quarterbacks. When the Lions draft another quarterback--mind you, a few offensive linemen would be nice, but whatever--Kitna will help that kid reach his potential. Quarterback coach Jon Kitna does not seem like an unlikely follow-up to his playing career.

5. The Answer Is Yes
Taking "hopeless" literally, as being WITHOUT hope. One can not be without hope and worse off than someone else without hope. You're both hopeless! So, both teams are hopeless.

Bad players, bad coaching, bad management, bad ownership. It's a tie!

6. Lions
The Raiders sometimes have winning seasons. The Lions never do.

7. As a Chokeland Raider fan...
I am goin with the Raiders. Get rid of Davis and the team may stand a chance, his management has ruined the team's prospects for now.

8. Gotta go with LSK on this one
Growing up in Michigan I have watched the lions squander talent for many many moons. A short list. Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, Charlie Batch, etc, etc, etc,. They will be loser's until the Ford family sells them.

9. Lions.
Raiders can't score, but at least they have a defense. If the two teams played today, I'd bet on Oakland.
