I posted last week about having to give up my pup and I received so many kind responses and a couple of very, very generous offers to foster or adopt my dog. I am so appreciative of those offers and I feel very lucky to be part of this group of caring people. The good news is that there is now a slight chance that I'll be able to bring my dog with me after all (I'm moving in with my mom and she's softening to the idea). If that doesn't end up working out, one of my sister's coworkers has offered to adopt her. That will be a more sad outcome but she lives in the same city and she'll let me continue to have play dates with my dog. I can't possibly state how relieved I am with either potential outcome. It had been weighing very heavily on my heart.

So thanks again to all of you who offered advice, care and sympathy. You are a wonderful bunch of people and your kindness has really helped me in this rough time.
