I think I would be just as excited for an ELO reunion tour as I would a Led Zeppelin tour. I probably listen to Out of the Blue, especially side #3's "Concerto for a Rainy Day" more often then any LZ album I own.

13. One of the best concerts I ever saw.

ELO at Celebertiy Theater in Phx AZ (in the round - revolving stage) back in probably 76 or 77. After Eldorado came out I think (one of my faves)

"Out of the Blue" is one of my all-time favorite albums. "A New World Record" is really good, too.

19. First time I heard 'em

— it was on "Midnight Special" — I went out of my mind. They did "Roll Over Beethoven." Three guys in tuxes playin' a bass cello!

Up until then, I think the only time I'd heard strings and/or horns in rock 'n' roll was on Procol Harum's "Conquistador," and I still love that song. Rock's partly about power, and orchestras can be quite powerful, so it's a great mix.

And, call me what you will, but "Do Ya" is still one of my favorite songs of all time. :thumbsup:
