Mysterious Hidden Pond Place

saw this at a website, which gave it the title "Spam of the Week". A variation of the same letter can be found in the letters to the editor of Dawn Newspaper, Pakistan.

My aim was to earn a living and learn from America but received utmost terror, torture, and abuse. I was targeted and was chosen to become a HUMAN GUINEA PIG for Human Behavior Control/Modification by the US agencies especially the National Security Agencies (The NSA).

I would like to inform US Ambassador to Pakistan Nancy Powell that I have personally informed Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali of my ordeal during his visit to Washington, DC. The ambassador should help me get my life back together that has been destroyed beyond belief by the US agencies for no fault of my own.

We put our faith in the US Constitution, though a "mockery" of our lives has been made by US agencies and their agents. I did not consent to be a human guinea-pig for the National Security Agency's (NSA's) psychological and mental torture programme called "human behaviour control/modification".

1. What is this about?

Just a guess, but my take is that mental illness doesn't care if your a Pakistani citizen or an American.

I hope the guy gets help.

2. Wild but we have 'studied' groups of people before.

I of course do not wish to think it is true, but things we do that are wrong have turned up over and over.I have no thoughts if it is less or more now.

3. BS Detector

This is off the scale on my BS detector. If you google on "hidden pond place" and "ashburn, va" you will see that this story has also been posted to the Vancouver and UK Indymedia sites. The posting on the Vancouver site looks like 3 or four e-mails all strung together, without any paragraph divisions. This is just an attempt at starting an urban ledgend.

Hidden Pond Place is a real street name in Ashburn, VA by the way.
