But I was sick and my back was in spasms, but family from New York to North Carolina were in town and bought tickets, so the show had to go on........I did not sing well, but I looked good in the tux and my folks loved it, even all the depressing parts about despising and spitting and liking sheep and beautiful feet......Christmas itself was delightful, I just directed the cooking and kept taking Vicodin and more Vicodin, washing them down with wine........the kids were happy with their gifts and there was no greed or jealousy.

I hope you're better now!
I haven't heard from Filbert about the rest of the season yet. Hopefully it's just because he's taking a well-deserved vacation! I've got a recording gig next week at Omega, doing demos of school music. Should be fun. Columbia has its annual Peter and the Wolf presentation on the 13th. Music and Arts sets up an instrument "petting zoo", which makes the concert an extra big hit. Adults are $12, kids 12 and under are free; so if you're looking for something to do...
I always liked "Thus saith the Lord, the Lord of Hosts; Yet once a little while and I will shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake..."
