crap, I have an ear infection, advise please |
|
saw the doc Tuesday and I have an ear infection. They gave me Amoxicillin and told me to take Motrin for the pain. Later in the day I felt a popping in the ear and it started to drain fluid. Now it's Thursday and it's still draining and I hear a loud buzz coming from the ear. Could I have ruptured the ear drum? The fluid has a slightly bloody color to it but it doesn't hurt.

It certainly sounds like my experience with ruptured eardrums. You'll probably need antibiotic drops and there's another kind of prescription drop that helps with the ear pain. Good luck. Ear infections suck.
