6. "...other than sit around my house."
HAH!

If it snows until Sunday, you'll have loads of opportunity to get out there and shovel snow! None of that sitting around the house stuff :P

The driving is just starting to get decent around these parts, so more snow (lots and lots) will be just terrific for us to help close out this mostly crappy year.

:hi:

I hope we all have a better 2007. :D

8. at least i'll get some exercise shoveling
the main roads have been fine since thursday but i'm really not looking forward to what my street is going to look like when this storm is done. i can't complain too much because, in the grand scheme, this isn't that bad, just inconvenient

11. It's already started.
Bonehead's 'bone arrived yesterday (the bass is on a truck and supposed to be delivered today ) and now he wants to go out and get a mouthpiece because none of the ones that he has are big enough. The wind hasn't started yet, but they're saying it's supposed to.

Albuquerque low -- oh, joy. If it really is, this might make last week's blizzard look like flurries. And I've still got two feet of snow from that one.

And I have to work tonight.

18. Yup.
It oughta be loads o' fun.

And an Albuquerque low is when the system comes up from the south/southeast and comes up against the mountains and stalls. Doesn't go anywhere. Usually the mountains shield us from everything that comes from the west or the north -- they act kind of like an umbrella. No such luck with an Albuquerque low.

This might be fun.

Not.

19. Bonehead is thrilled...
The look on his face when he saw the PICTURE of it was something to write home about. I thought he was going to cry. When it actually came yesterday and he lifted it out of the case -- that was pretty cool.

Now he wants to go out and get a new mouthpiece for it (the ones that he has are for a smaller bore instrument). Looks like that's going to have to wait a day or two.

Poor kid.

We still have NO snow in my part of Minnesota. This weather is bizarre. Sorry you're stuck with all the white stuff!

15. bizarre is certainly the word for it
we've gotten so used to mild winters here (with the exception of the usual mid-januray uber freeze) but this is what the weather actually used to be like around here. i'm just glad i don't have to go out for the next few days.

14. I'll take it. I don't remember the last time it snowed in Georgia
Sometimes it sucks living in a humid, sub-tropical climate.
Hell, I've got on a short sleeved t-shirt today and I had the air conditioning on in my car on the 24th.

Some snow sounds nice right about now.
