Well, JackMN just took down the Christmas tree, for me.
:eyes:

Fortunately, he was uninjured.
It constantly amazes me that most children survive to adulthood.

3. I made him go take a nap.
He threw a tantrum when I insisted he couldn't lay under the fallen tree. He's going to be so sad when the tree is gone. He loved it.

8. I bet he'd love you, too!
He pretty much loves anyone who will talk to him. He's taken to calling me "pretzel," (sounds like "putza") this week. Apparently, access to snack food is of a higher order of importance than maternal affection.

9. Sniffa and I are his biggest fans...
And I think Jack and I would have a darn good time together...I spent most of Xmas Eve night with Sniffa's soon-to-be 3 year old niece, playing Play-Doh, as well as being her personal assistant when she discovered the joys of her Sing-along Microphone/CD Player

Jaclyn's version of the 1st song on the Happy Feet soundtrack: "HAPPY FEET!! HAPPY FEET!! PENGUINS!!!"

and her own personal ditty: "When I get up in the morning, I turn up the radio...Then I put on my clothes, 'cause I'm NAKED!!! and then I put the makeup on my LIIIIIIIIIPS"

Not to mention her dance moves...f'n priceless.

4. I've been waiting for Morrissey the cat to dismantle ours
Fortunately he's afraid of it and hasn't gone near it. I figured there'd be approximately 382 broken ornaments and fake needles all over the carpet, but we've been spared by his scaredycat-edness.

6. Lucky!
My kid has smelled like pine for over a week, and I don't even know how many ornaments he broke. Ah well, they're only little once. The only thing Jack would've liked more than having a tree in our house would be having your cat! He LOVES animals.

10. He'd love Morrissey, but Morrissey probably wouldn't love him
He bolts the second our friends' children enter the house. It's a shame because he's such an adorable little thing, and children would love him, but he's afraid of anyone under 4'11"! Jack will grow out of his tree-bashing stage, don't worry!

11. Well, you had it through the day at least.
We had our last tree in 1984. Put it up 2 weeks before christmas and the day after we put it up we found Gabriel carrying it around...decorated.

Gabriel was our dog.

12. Glad he wasn't hurt. Bet it was a sight though..
Did you get pictures? Memories like that are priceless.

We had to go to all plastic/brass/wood ornaments this year due to the antics around here with pets. Luckily I already had enough to fill the big tree so I didn't have to buy any. We have a cat(grandkitty actually) and a lab..the cat dances in front of the dogs face then runs straight to the tree , sliding underneath and laughing at the dog from under it. The dog grabs the tree skirt and runs around the dining room table with it..meanwhile the tree shakes back and forth, decorations falling, cat slapping them around.
