Just Peeled Del Monte Banana & Found Beetle.

It was some sort of small beetle-like thing inside the peel. Good gosh. I threw the last two away. And to think I ate the first four. Hopefully this one was a fluke.

My first boss always removed the banana completely from the peel. She said her brother was bitten by a spider when they were kids. I never believed that a critter could live in a banana, but AHA - she was right all along.

7. I found a weird red fibrous substance at the core of one banana I ate.

Put me off bananas for a few months!
